Our Board and 501(c)(3)

The Pontiac Transportation Museum is incorporated as a 501(c)(3) – a non-profit organization as recognized by the State of Michigan and Federal Government (“Pontiac-Oakland Museum and Resource Center”, non-profit tax ID #802170777).  As such we are governed by a Board of Directors. • Mission and vision
• Capital and operating budgets.
• Annual reports.
• Personnel policies
• Major organizational changes, asset sales, or acquisition
• Creating operating bylaws.
• Guidance/maintenance of the integrity of the organization
