We are pleased to have Jeannette Gutierrez from the American Rosie the Riveter Association (Willow Run Chapter of ARRA) coming to speak about this remarkable history of women contributing to WWII. All those “manly” trucks built in Pontiac, as well as Pontiac-made anti-aircraft guns and torpedoes – that made a huge contribution to Allied success, were built primarily by women! Maybe you know a surviving Rosie? If so, she deserves a standing ovation – please bring her along!!
